Squarespace Proves Great Fit for Restaurants and Bars

As the owners of The Owl’s Tail were prepping to open their doors to the public on New York’s Upper West Side, their Colorado-based Squarespace design partners were hard at work designing a hip website to market the new cocktail parlor and eatery. Fix8 Media’s Squarespace experts captured the establishment’s vibe with an aesthetic that mirrors the mixology of its craft cocktails.

Starting in the Squarespace Blend template, Fix8 Media’s Squarespace designers effected a moody home page backed in black and showcasing photos of The Owl’s Tail and its many edible and drinkable delights. Scrolling down, visitors get a sneak peek of the menu backed by an image of the painted Owl mural residing on the bar’s wall. An Instagram feed anchors the Squarespace home page, making you both thirsty and wishing you were there joining in the fun.

The site is rounded out by a gallery page that will make you want to go to the bar and a location page that helps you find it!
