Squarespace Acquires Unfold App to Up Social Game
Social Media Templates Meet Squarespace Templates
10.30.19 On the heels of its acquisition of Acuity Scheduling earlier this year, Squarespace recently announced that is has added social media publishing app Unfold to its impressive mix. Unfold helps users create super deluxe stories for their Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat presence.
Founded in 2018, Unfold offers magazine-style templates for social media, enhancing the user’s ability to tell their story in a most engaging manner. The growth of the app has been tremendous, with the creation of more than 700 million Unfold template stories. In fact, Unfold was ranked number 1 in the App Store’s photo/video category in nearly a dozen countries, according to Squarespace.
Current Squarespace users can download the app for free in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Premium templates and features are available for subscription.
