Squarespace Proves Ideal for Ballet Company’s New Website

We love supporting the arts here at Fix8 Media, so it was quite the treat for our Squarespace designers and developers to work on the new website for the Columbia Ballet Collaborative. An organization for students from all Columbia University undergraduate colleges and their affiliates, the group is student-run and directed by its members—many of whom have danced professionally. Fix8 Media’s Squarespace designers very much enjoyed collaborating with these talented and creative students on their new Squarespace website!

Working in the Squarespace Mojave template, the team crafted an elegant home page featuring motion video background in the banner area and GIFs accompanying the calls to action. It’s a thrill for our Squarespace experts to work on a website with such enchanting professional photography and video!

The body of the new Squarespace website features detailed pages about the organization’s mission, board and founders, and choreographers and dancers. Visitors can enjoy stunning photo and video galleries, as well as find information about upcoming classes and performances. Those interested in supporting the group are encouraged to complete a Squarespace form and submit it.

Complete with a Mailchimp integration to grow the organization’s mailing list, the new Columbia Ballet Collaborative Squarespace website is the ideal marketing tool for garnering support, interest, and fans of the performing arts!
