Fix8 Media, Boulder’s top Squarespace website design firm, recently worked with a financial analysis group to launch their own consumer review website—this one devoted to selecting the best credit card for you.
Built in the Squarespace Brine template, the Real People Real Reviews website aims to help consumers find a credit card that provides them with the most benefits. Consumers are prompted to search by age or special interest, such as frequent flyers or those who love to dine out. Based on those parameters, the website offers the top credit cards that are the best fit for one’s demographic or lifestyle.
“This was a case of taking a lot of data and organizing it in such a way that it was easily accessible to the end user,” describes Fix8 Media Creative Director and Squarespace Expert Josh Neimark. “Within the Squarespace tools, you have various options to present information and calls to action. This website required quite a bit of customization to provide the user experience the client was hoping for—and the results are impressive. With just a few choices and clicks, consumers are presented with the top credit cards that suit their needs.”
Despite the customization, the client is still able to work within the Squarespace tools and update the website as needed—which in this case is quite frequently due to changing credit card offers. “Here at Fix8 Media, we are very conscious of maintaining our clients’ ability to work within the Squarespace CMS to make updates to their websites,” adds Neimark. “Our approach to customization is always a delicate balance between delivering what the client wants while maintaining the integrity of the Squarespace tools.”
